June 14, the US Army’s birthday
Since we know you’ve been keeping up on our articles, you already know that June 14 is National Flag Day and National Bourbon Day. It’s also the date the US Army celebrates its birthday! When the Continental Congress authorized enlistment of expert riflemen to serve the United Colonies for one year on June 14, 1775, the US Army was born.
We thank all who have served and are serving in the US Army. We’ve recommended the American Flag to celebrate National Flag Day and the Manhattan to celebrate National Bourbon Day. If you want to join us in celebrating the Army’s birthday, go with The Highball.
Happy birthday Army! Cheers and enjoy.
